Why 10X Is Easier Than 2X
The premise is that you don't need to work ten times harder to achieve ten times the results. 10X is about the process versus the outcome. The outcomes are a byproduct of focusing on improving key areas of your life and business, like time management, financial resources, relationships, and personal purpose, which can lead to massive growth.
Author Dan Sullivan's states, “10X separates the signal from the noise.” Explaining his quality versus quantity argument, he emphasizes that when you set a 10X goal, it “is so big and seemingly impossible that it immediately forces you out of your current mindset and approach. You can’t work 10X harder or longer. Brute force and linear methods won’t get you to 10X.”
How Your Comeback Is Different This Time
This 10X principle is very relevant for people like you and me. Unlike the perfect people who win at everything the first time around, you and I are the kind of people who learn from trial and error, getting better along the way.
Comebacks don't seem likely when your back is up against the wall and your hope is depleted. But if you will stay the course, you will discover God's power to reverse the irreversible in your life.
The mind game with trial and error, however, is that the errors sneakily convince you that they are failures with no hope of success. But you are ripe for a comeback, my friend. You are the perfect candidate for a comeback whenever you decide to take another shot; give it another try, especially after you’ve learned from an error.
My Question for You
Are you going to give it another try this week? Will you shift your perspective, reprioritize, and elevate your efforts based on what you’ve learned from your errors?
Then let’s go! Don’t waste another moment of this pondering if you are going to master the process and divorce yourself from the outcomes. Fall in love with the pursuit of becoming the person you are working so hard to be, and watch the pieces fall into place.
The truth is, if you are living from your calling, your God-given purpose, then God is obligated to get involved. He has to get his hands in the mix. He has to be at work, working things for your good—read Romans 8:28.
