🌟 Remarkable Monday, Apr. 15

Here’s to a REMARKABLE MONDAY, my friend! In this week’s edition:

  • One tiny step can be a giant leap

  • Dive into the deep

  • My antidote

But before we get into it, a big shout out to my podcast ConvoRoom: Conversations with mentors, moguls and legends. Listen to the latest episode here.

What’s The Big Idea?

Yeah, here’s to another week on the horizon! I was in conversation with a friend who was planning a very big event for their business—so big, in fact, that I was wondering why I was invited to the conversation. It turns out that I had absolutely no background or expertise with the type of event they were putting together.

It was when my friend leaned over and asked me, “What should we work on first?” He said, “We’re not going to figure out everything today, but how would you approach it?”

It might be safe to say that you have something big you’re working on this week. Something big could be as simple as managing your time efficiently so you are not exhausted by Friday. Whatever the big idea is, I want to remind you that you can take it one step at a time.

Deep Dives

While you’re pacing yourself, I want to invite you to fall in love with discovering the minute details of whatever topic you’re pursuing. Learn more as a way to discover rather than striving to absorb information to “do” something with it. By taking this route, you are learning so you can “be” something about it.

INSPIRATION
Guy Sebastian - Antidote (Official Video) ft. Sam Fischer

This song has become one of my favorites lately. I hope you get as much joy out of it as I do. I love the lyrics in the chorus in particular:

“You take the weight off my shoulder. You make it safe to get older. When I’m losing light, when I’m tipping over, you’re where I go. Whenever my feet miss the landing, you take me from stumbling to dancing. You’re where I go when everything’s broken, my antidote.”
