A New Series…

For as long as I can remember, my life has revolved around music ministry. I often joke that I'm a "recovering worship pastor," a title that reflects the years I spent deeply embedded in full-time music ministry. My journey has taken me through various roles and responsibilities within the local and global church, and it has been nothing short of an incredible ride.

A Whirlwind of Changes

The joy of leading worship, the fulfillment of playing a part in another person’s spiritual walk through music – these experiences have profoundly shaped who I am. These experiences set me on a path of navigating a whirlwind of changes, holding four different jobs over five years.

At one point, my 2-year-old had lived in three states because of the amount of moving required for that season of my family’s life.

This period of transition was challenging, yet it was also a time of significant growth and reflection. It ultimately led to me reconsidering my vocation altogether. Little did I know I would stumble upon a level of joy and fulfillment I didn’t see coming. But it took courage. Courage to embrace a life that looked different from what I had always known.

Inspired by my experiences and the timeless teachings of Jesus along the way, particularly the Sermon on the Mount, I’m amped to explore how these principles can guide you and me.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing a series of reflections, biblical truths, and introspective questions designed to provoke awakening for Christ-minded creators.

This new series is all about focus – understanding what truly matters and how we can align our lives with those values. Whether you’re looking to reinvent yourself, find clarity, or simply need a weekly dose of inspiration, I hope these reflections will be meaningful to you.

I’m not entirely sure how long I’ll stick with this series, but I do feel like this is the direction I need to go right now. I’m excited to dive in, and I hope you’ll join me on this journey. Look out for the first installment next Monday, and let’s see where this path takes us together.
