🌟 Remarkable Monday, Mar. 25

Say this with me: Done is better than perfect!

Here’s to another REMARKABLE MONDAY, my friend!

Let’s culminate our Women’s History Month observance with a story of a female founder who is making history in her own right.

I was watching an interview with Tessa Barton, Tezza co-founder, along with her husband Cole Herrmann. Their profile in CNBC’s “HOW I MADE IT inspired today’s message.

Say this with me: Done is better than perfect.

Say it again: Don’t is better than perfect! Yes, you and I both are passionate about details and making our work the best it can be. However, we cannot sacrifice progress in the name of perfection.

Perfection Is an Elusive Standard

In our pursuit of excellence, it's common to fall into the trap of perfectionism. We can become fixated on details, hesitant to move forward until everything is flawless. However, perfection is an elusive standard that constantly evolves with our growth and learning.

The idea that "Done is better than perfect" isn't about settling for mediocrity. Instead, it's an acknowledgment of our human limitations and a recognition that progress often comes through imperfect action. Each completed project, no matter its imperfections, represents forward movement and an opportunity for learning and refinement.

Let's embrace Tessa and Cole's mindset this Monday as we conquer the week ahead.

Prioritize progress over perfection, celebrating each step forward and recognizing that imperfection is an inherent part of the creative process. By doing so, we open ourselves up to growth, innovation, and, ultimately, greater success.
