Gone Fishing
If you’ve ever felt like you’ve been “fishing all night” — putting in the work, showing up with faith, and wondering why nothing seems to be biting — you’re in good company.

In Luke 5, Peter found himself in that exact place. Exhausted. Empty-handed. Ready to wash his nets and call it a day. Then Jesus stepped into his boat and asked for something: “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”
Peter’s answer was honest. “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything.” But the sentence that followed changed everything: “But because You say so, I will let down the nets.”
That single act of obedience turned his frustration into overflow.
I’ve been thinking about that moment a lot lately as I walk through what I’m calling my Remarkable 45 — forty-five days of saying yes to opportunities that stretch me, even when I don’t see immediate results. Why? Because sometimes God isn’t asking for a brand-new plan; He’s asking for another launch of the same net, just in deeper water.
Last week, that looked like me participating in my first TikTok live, sharing a prayer for creatives. And as a result, my following grew large enough for me to start hosting my own lives. I also met the requirements to start going live on YouTube.
